Group Yoga Therapy

What is Group Yoga Therapy?

Group yoga therapy is a space for people connected by shared experiences like grief, burnout, pain, illness, or the ongoing work of living with what life brings. Some groups gather around shared intentions, such as cultivating steadiness, tending to anxiety, or finding ease together.

Each group’s practice is created in response to the people in the room and the stories we carry. We move, breathe, and rest in community,  learning from our bodies and from one another.

This is not talk therapy, and it isn’t a substitute for it. It’s a collective practice of attention and care, where we make space for what’s real, together.

Who is Group Yoga Therapy for?

Group yoga therapy is for three or more people who want to practice in the comfort of a small community,  folks connected by shared experiences, friendships, or kinship. It’s a space for those who value being with others who understand something about what they carry.

We gather with intention  to move, breathe, and rest together in ways that meet each person’s needs and capacities. Each group’s practice is shaped around who’s present and what matters to you.

You don’t need special clothes, flexibility, or experience. Yoga is for every body and every being. What’s needed most is a willingness to show up as you are, alongside others doing the same.
