Embodied Listening

What it Is:
Imagine the power of someone listening to you—and really hearing you. Your words, your emotions, and what’s underneath.
Embodied listening is a wisdom tradition found throughout the world (and called by different names). What I offer is a special, protected container we create together, where you have the space to speak and be heard, and I listen to you.
The deep listening experience means I hear and listen to ALL the dimensions of who you are, both what is said and what is implied. I listen to hear, see, and experience your demeanor and seek beyond surface meaning.
This is not therapy, and it is not to take the place of a mental health professional. It is a place and opportunity to come to tend to yourself and give yourself the gift of being in the present moment with someone who wants to hold space for you and deeply hear your story.
By offering embodied listening sessions, I hope to meet a need I see and feel profoundly in our society: people are often not deeply heard and seen. We are lonelier than ever. I want to change that experience for and with you.
Who it’s For:
Anyone who needs and wants to be truly heard, seen, held, and honored.
Where to Start:
Free 20 mins Session | Video Call OR you can book an Embodied Listening (EL) Intake session + an Embodied Listening session of your preferred length
In a 20 minute free session we’ll chat about what you’re looking for and what this wisdom tradition can offer you. We will discuss location options. You’ll have space to ask questions and see if we will be a good match. You can also go ahead and schedule your Embodied Listening (EL) Intake session + an Embodied Listening Session of your preferred length and I will send out an intake form for you to fill out and return to be before you session.
How it Works:
The length of these sessions can vary to your need and desire. It is an experiential time for you to be seen and heard with me suspending all judgement, listening with an open heart and mind, allowing time and space for open, honest, deeply receptive, respectful listening, some guiding questions, and conversation—depending on what you want out of your session.
